Here is what the Pillow Without a Hole is made of, and what each part does for you.

A breathable organic cotton outer

The outer is certified organic OEKO-TEX® cotton — breathable, soft and durable. It fits any standard-size pillowcase, or pair it with one of our organic cotton cases.

Adjust it to suit you

An integrated YKK® zip lets you fine-tune firmness and height by adding or removing filling — flatter and softer, or fuller and more supportive.

Your choice of filling

Odourless, hypoallergenic coil fibre, spun in Yorkshire on machinery dating back to 1952 — it maintains loft, promotes airflow and gives a balanced medium-firm feel, without the heat or weight of memory foam (a softness and spring closer to feather and down, but cruelty-free). Or choose British wool: naturally breathable, temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking, renewable and biodegradable. Or swap in your own material entirely.

A companion, at 70 × 40 cm

Measuring 70 × 40 cm, it fits all standard pillowcases. Use it on its own, or as a partner to your ear pillow — the same quality and comfort, without a hole.

Made by our own team in Liverpool

Every stage, from cutting the fabric to the final seam, is handled by our own team here in Liverpool.

The outer is three layers of certified organic OEKO-TEX® cotton, chosen for breathability, softness and durability.

Our craft

These are not cheap textiles, and you wouldn’t want them to be.

It’s expensive to make things this well. Well sourced materials with nothing hidden in them, made by people paid a proper wage, sewn from scratch here in Liverpool. Look at what else is out there: the rest of the market is made overseas, down to a price. We went the other way and chose quality over price. That’s why nobody else makes them like this.
