Introducing Our New Dark Slate Pillowcase With a Hole™
We’ve added something new to the PWAH® range:
The Original Dark Slate Pillowcase With a Hole™, made in our workshop using a fabric specially sourced for us. This is the same approach we take with our white OEKO-TEX® organic sateen.
This is simply a well-made, practical pillowcase designed to work properly with the Original PWAH® and PWAH® V2.
Why a New Colour?
Customers have been asking for a darker, more contemporary option for some time. Slate was the obvious choice:
- It suits most bedrooms
- It looks clean and modern
- It hides small marks between washes
- It pairs neatly with the neutral fabric of our pillows
It’s an understated colour that does the job without drawing attention.
Fabric Chosen for Quality, Not Gimmicks
The fabric for this pillowcase was selected specifically for its:
- Soft feel against the skin
- No chemicals
- Ability to wash and dry well
- Consistent quality from batch to batch
We source the fabric from Oddies Textiles, a long-established UK supplier with deep experience in the textile trade.
Made to Fit the PWAH® Properly
A standard pillowcase doesn’t sit well on a PWAH®, so this one is cut and sewn to match the shape of the pillow and keep the opening in the right place. There’s no bunching, no fabric collapsing into the hole, and no seams drifting where the ear should be.
This makes it particularly suitable for:
- People with ear pain or chondrodermatitis
- Piercings at any stage of healing
- BAHA users
- Side-sleepers who prefer reduced pressure on the ear
It’s simply a comfortable, tidy finish for the pillow many of our customers already rely on.
Made in the UK
As with our pillows, we make these pillowcases ourselves in small batches. Staff are paid fairly, materials are chosen for quality, and every case is checked before it’s sent out.
It isn’t the cheapest way to manufacture bedding, but it means the product is made properly.
