When purchasing The Original Pillow with Hole™ you will need to consider whether you would like to have a pillowcase or not. This really depends on the length of time you plan using the pillow, and in turn this is generally dictated by the specific need.

If you are buying your Original P.W.A.H™ for the purpose of recovering after ear surgery or after having ear piercings, you can expect to use the pillow for a week to a month. Our pillows can be washed and are made from soft, excellent quality Rose & Hubble cotton, so you wouldn’t necessarily need a pillowcase for such short-term use. Although, of course, they are a nice optional extra.

Conversely, if you’re planning on using the pillow for the management of a long term or chronic condition such as Chondrodermatitis Nodularis Helicis (ear pressure sores), you will want the option of having a removable pillowcase which you can wash. Our pillowcases are currently priced at £20 (25$) each. When purchasing multiple cases, the price halves for each subsequent case. It is useful to have more than one pillowcase so you can rotate them during a wash. This is why purchases of more than one come with a great discount.
